Dear Jason,

I am writing this letter in regards to the recent purchase and installation of our hidden fence system. When Dave and I contacted you to set up an appointment we had also contacted two other local vendors from the area. After our meeting, my husband and I both looked at each other and said "that is the guy who is going to put our fence in". You were very patient in answering all of our questions and your customer service skills were outstanding! The other two vendors spent little time with us and one vendor didn't even walk the perimeter.

We are very pleased with the fence! We have peace of mind knowing that our dog is safe from the busy highway and bicyclists that frequently ride by. In addition, we want to thank you for your assistance in helping us choose a puppy that fit our lifestyle. In closing, please add our names to your list of referrals.

I am not one to take time out and write letters of recommendations, but in this case I must. You were just out here for a service call. From the time of requesting service, you were here in less than 4 hours. Words cannot explain in how happy we are with our fence, your training, and customer support. We strongly considered your major competitor, but due to their less than truthful, pushy, and negative selling tactics we are so happy we went with you.

It has been over two years since we had you install and train our two Springer Spaniels and they NEVER have gone through the fence. We have NEVER even paid for a battery yet. When speaking to your competitor they explained that it was impossible to have a two year battery life, WOW were they WRONG. Your two year battery life is proving to be closer to 3 years soon. The status light will tell us whenever Vos gets too close chasing birds, squirrels, rabbits, and our kids going down the driveway. Your system is truly amazing. Since you were out here, you came back to help us with a barking issue and your training tactics took immediate action giving us immediate results. It has been less than a month and the barking is COMPLETELY under control.

To anyone considering a hidden fence, Jason and Stephany Bouchea definitely under promise and over deliver. We have not had such a great experience with any company of any sort in the last few years. When you were selling us your system, we never thought it would go like you said, but it did. It actually went better!! Thank you so much for making our relationship with our dogs better!!

Dear Jason,

Just a note to let you know that the little white flags are starting to be removed and all is well with Dewey and Gadget. They know where the boundaries are and do not stray. Yesturday I removed a pine tree from my south lawn and Dewey spent the entire day outside with me. Dogs and people walk by, a thirty kid group of Bellin Run trainers ran by and Dewey never thought about leaving the property. Now, instead of a dog to watch, I have an outdoor companion to share my day with. I was, probably, the biggest skeptic when you described your system and remained skeptical til your last 2 or 3 training sessions, but now I am a firm believer. Your system is great, but your techniques for training are nothing but short of amazing.

RE: Hidden Fence

Jason,

It’s been a little over a year since the installation of our DogWatch Hidden Fence System. Every time Archie (the Boxer) runs the 300’+ length of our front yard while keeping approximately 20 feet between him and the street… I remind myself to send you a note. As many others stated, your training method is outstanding. Even though Archie may have taken just one more training session than some (my wife still calls him her “little D-“) he is certainly enjoying his freedom now and spends a lot of time outside. In fact he’s out there enjoying the yard as I type this. Now that we have your system, I can’t imagine not having it.

BUT… the most important part of this note is not about Archie. It’s Walker… yes, Walker the cat. Man does he love to go outside. Unlike the dog, he needed such little training and remembers and obeys the boundaries without incident. He proudly prowls the yard like a lion hunting in the safari. He really owns the yard. He hangs out in the tall grass, stalks the bird feeder (trying to stay low and invisible which is hilarious), and guards the wood pile. While he is still overweight mostly due to human error, he gets a ton of exercise without any of the worry normally associated with letting a cat run loose. There is no reason anyone should hesitate to include their feline when benefiting from your system.

Dear Jason,

I am writing to let you know how much my husband and I enjoy having your DogWatch Hidden Fence system for our two Golden Retreivers. It is so nice to sit outside and have our dogs be able to play and run with each other without the fear of having them run away. I truly believe they are getting much more excersise by having Dog Watch than they would if we walked them. My dog, Jasper, is considered a member of my family and very precious to me! I had the tragedy happen of having a 7 month old pup killed in front of my house on my rural-type road. I knew I had to do something to keep Jasper safe.

I called 3 companies about underground fencing. Jason Bouchea with DogWatch Fencing was very prompt in responding to my inquiry. He brought literature on his product AND showed me samples of what would be installed. He tried a collar on Jasper and let me see how he adapted to wearing it. My decision of choosing DogWatch over the other products was based on the genuine interest Jason expressed for my concerns over the safety of MY dog, the quality of the DogWatch products he showed me, the training plan presented and the pricing.

Jason promptly installed the hidden fencing and showed me how to the with Jasper. It was very easy to train him - Jasper not Jason. After only 10 days of training I had forgotten to put Jasper's correction collar when letting him outside. To my amazement he still respected his boundaries - showing how quickly he had learned!

Jason is true to his word about providing service. He returned on a regular basis to help with and evaluate Jasper’s training and was very prompt with returning phone calls when question arouse. Thank you, so much for our Dogwatch fence. Before we had the fence we could not let our dog off a leash to play with him because he would take off to the neighbors or across the road. So we had decided we needed to try something else. It was not fair to have him on a chain all the time.

So we called Jason with PetSafe and he came out to our house and discussed our options. We decided to have him install the hidden fence. He showed us how to train our dog Chance. I worked with Chance everyday for about two weeks and before no time he was doing really well and we have not had him on a lease since.

Before we had the hidden fence installed we had a dog that was tragically hit on the road. Since we have the hidden fence we no longer have to worry about going through another tragic incident like that again. Change seem so much happier and a lot less hyper because he has the room to run.

I would definitely recommend the hidden fence to anyone that loves their pets as much as we do. I would not want anyone to have to go through losing a pet like we had to.

To all persons considering purchasing a containment system for their pups:

Jason Bouchea, our local representative of DogWatch came highly recommended from my groomer. I first became aware of DogWatch of NE Wisconsin through a marketing letter that arrived at my daughters house.

I have 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels who just turned 1 year old. If you are aware of this breed, you know that they are very sensitive and loving lap dogs. My concern of course was that I did not want o “hurt” my precious pups.

Jason’s present the product with much detail an assured me that my dogs would respond to the system very well. In addition, he offered to do the training for me at no extra cost because I was recovering from major foot surgery and was confined to a wheelchair.

Jason knew the nature of the breed of my dogs and it was evident that he had researched it very well. He also got to know the personality of each of them and adjusted their training. LilyRose was the adventurer and Picidilly the timid one.

In addition, when there was a problem with the lawn care people cutting the wire, he responded very quickly. Jason became a friend to me and puppies – they are always excited to see him.

I would highly recommend DogWatch as a gentler yet effective confinement system and would certainly recommend Jason.

To Whom it May Concern:

My husband and I have been PetSafe Pro customers since 2006. Our first system was a retail system from Petco that we purchased before buying our two dogs. That system was not working for our dogs, and we needed to make a change. I contacted the PetSafe Pro rep that worked in our area, who at the time was Jason Bouchea. Not only was Jason extremely helpful and eager to make sure our dogs needs were being met, but he was fantastic when working with the dogs. He made every effort to make sure they would be contained to our yard. With his guidance we upgraded to the professional system of PetSafe.

About nine months after upgrading our system we had one of the transmitter collars break. I contacted Jason Bouchea at this time to see if we could get a replacement. He informed me that PetSafe Pro was going out of business so he switched to a more advanced system, DogWatch. He told me to contact Jim Bradfish that was the PetSafe Pro rep now for our area. I contacted Jim Bradfish with Northwoods Pet Containment to see if he could help us. I was very disappointed with his attitude. He was very rude on the phone, and tried to pick apart everything that Jason had done for us. He made me feel that I was dumb and wasn't using the equipment properly. He did get us a replacement collar, but we had that coming, since there is a lifetime warranty on them. After dealing with him, I knew there was no way I would feel comfortable having him ever come to our home to work with our dogs. In my opinion, if you can treat a human the way he treated me, how would he have been with my dogs?

This system did work for a while; however we have one dog who seems to challenge his boundaries and has escaped quite a few times. To any pet owner, the safety of your pet is extremely important, so you can imagine how upsetting that was to us. I knew Jim Bradfish with Northwoods Pet Containment was the rep I needed to contact, so I did. I e-mailed him and let him know what was happening and asked if he had any advice. He said that the equipment probably needed batteries or that I wasn't using it properly (obviously the batteries were the first thing I checked and the system was functioning just fine). I did e-mail him back saying that everything that should be working was and that I really was concerned about my dog's safety and really needed help, he never responded back to me. Then I sent an e-mail to the PetSafe Pro customer service about this issue, and once again no response. I am completely unsatisfied and frustrated with how PetSafe has been with us since Jason Bouchea is no longer there. After a lot of consideration, my husband and I have decided to switch our system to DogWatch of NE WI, where we know that we will receive exceptional customer service. Jason has never let us down and we are so excited to be working with him again. Now we have our dogs staying in the yard with no worries with the DogWatch Hidden Fence system. I hope this is an eye opener to you, I am sure we are not the only customers that have been neglected by Jim at Northwoods Pet Containment.
